Service Description
Chittorgarh reverberates the passion, bravery and pride of the Rajputana. The Chittorgarh Fort is a UNESCO world heritage site spanning 700 acres of land and consisting of multiple water reservoirs, 65 historic structures, four palaces including Padmini and Rana Kumbha Palace as well as the Vijay Stambha. The Stambha was constructed by the Hindu king Rana Kumbha of Mewar in 1448 to commemorate his victory over the combined armies of Malwa and Gujarat sultanates led by Mahmud Khilji. Similarly, the Kirti Stambh (Tower of Fame) which is also situated within the fort symbolises the ideology of Jains and was dedicated to the first Jain Tirthankara, Sri Adinath.
